The Goddess of Waters

Inspired by the principles of the Restoration she was responsible for numerous public works. During her reign in Lucca she built an aqueduct that brought drinking water to the city, to the many public and private fountains of Lucca. The aqueduct was built by Lorenzo Nottolini in neoclassical style and today is part of the monumental architecture of the city.
